છેલ્લો ડિજિટલ અંક. એક પડાવ જ ને ?
દીપકભાઈ મહેતાનો ૧૯મી સદીના સાહિત્ય વિશેનો લેખ તો સાહિત્ય અને ગુજરાતીતાનો ઘમંડ દર્શાવે છે. તે અાપણે સારુ તમાચા સમાન છે. મારા જેવા અજ્ઞાનીઓ માટે જ્ઞાનની ક્ષિતિજો વિસ્તારવાની ચાવી. સાહિત્યના ઇતિહાસકારો કેટલા ? ઓણ ? મને તો એક જ નામ યાદ આવશે – દીપક મહેતા.
અતુલભાઈ સવાણીનો સદા પ્રસન્ન ચહેરો ઝળકતાં મન કરમાઈ ગયું. અંતે એમણે કઈંક લખ્યું, અને જીવનના અંતે એમણે કઈંક લખ્યું. વિડંબના છે. ફરી એમનું ન હોવું સજીવ બની ગયું. કઈં યાદ ન કરો, વિપુલભાઈ. કઈં યાદ ન કરાવો, વિપુલભાઈ …

I know you have mixed emotions right now. Even I can share some of the emotions though I am remotely attached to Opinion. But I believe this is a start of a new era.
