કોરોના કવિતા
ગરીબ છીએ
નીચ જાતિના,
જાતિ ના પૂછો તો સારું,
ગરીબોની કોઈ જાતિ નથી હોતી,
અમારા પૂર્વજો પણ ગરીબ હતા ..
બનાવેલાં મજૂરો હતાં,
ને અમે પણ … અમે પણ …. છીએ …
જરુરિયાત પ્રમાણે અમે પેદાં કરીએ છીએ
જરૂરિયાત મુજબનાં ગરીબો
એ પણ બનવાનાં મજૂરો
તમારી જરૂરિયાત પ્રમાણેનાં
થોકબંધ મળી જશે
છૂટકમાં મળી જશે
કરો ફાવે તેમ ઉપયોગ ને ઉપભોગ
મોકળું આકાશ છે મૂડીવાદીઓ,
ઉપયોગ ને ઉપભોગમાં લીધા પછી
ફેંકી દેજો અમને રસ્તા પર … મરવા માટે ..
યુઝ એન્ડ થ્રો નીતિ છે કાયમ તમારી,
લોકડાઉનનો અજગર છે ને ભૂખનો ભરડો છે.
કોરોનાને લીધે નુકસાન થયું છે,
થોડું તમારું ઝાઝું અમારું ..
પૈસાનું, માલસામાનનું, જીવોનું .. ઈચ્છાઓનું ..
માનસિક ત્રાસનું પલ્લું સૌથી ભારે,
માનવાધિકારમાં પણ અરજી કરવી પડે!!
મીડિયાના વીડિયો શું કાફી નથી?
રિપોર્ટરો શું ખાલી બનાવે છે રિપોર્ટ,
દેશ આમને આમ ખાડે ગયો છે,
શું આંકડાકીય માહિતી હંમેશાં સાચી હોય છે? બસ તમને અનુકૂળ આવવી જોઈએ,
ગરીબ કી જોરુ સબકી ભાભી ..
ક્યાં જઈએ?? ઘર વાપસી .. દૂર તો દૂર .. જઈશું,
ચલતે ચલતે હમારી યે બાત યાદ રખના ..
સૈલાબ આયેગા, સબ મિટ જાયેગા …
કુછ કામ નહીં આયેગા,
સત્તાધીશો વોટ માંગજો હવે, વચનો આપજો હવે, તમને નહીં છોડીએ … કોઈ પણ ભોગે,
અમારા ઉપવાસ ગાંધીજી કરતાં આકરાં છે,
વિરોધ કરીએ તો લાઠીચાર્જ કરાવો છો,
ચૂપ રહીએ તો ભૂખે મારો છો,
કહો, અમને આઝાદી ક્યારે મળશે?
અમે ભૂખ્યાં તરસ્યાં લાચાર છીએ,
કોણ અમને બચાવશે?
છે કોઈ???

Poor,
Of low caste we are.
Please do not ask the caste.
The poor have no caste.
Our ancestors, too, were poor.
Made labourers.
And we, too, are.
We reproduce labourers as per your need
The poor as per your need.
They, too, will become labourers.
As per your need
You will get wholesale
Or retail
Use them as you like
The sky is the limit
O capitalists.
After use
You throw us on the road
To die.
Your motto is always
Use and throw.
The Python of lockdown is
A clutch of hunger.
With lockdown you had some loss
But more of us.
Money, lives and desires.
The mental agony is high.
In the human rights we have to complain.
The video in the media are not enough?
Do the news reporters show fake?
The country has gone to dogs.
Is the statistics right?
Yes, if it suits you.
Might is right.
where to go?
Return to home?
It is so far.
Even then we will go.
We go, but remember what we say,
There will be a great flood,
It will drown all,
Nothing will rescue you.
O in power,
Ask for votes in future,
Give us promises,
We won't spare you.
Our fasts are more austere
Than those of Gandhi.
If we oppose, you lathi charge us,
If we remain silent, you leave us to drive hungry.
Tell us when we will have freedom?
We are hungry, thirsty and helpless.
Who will save us?
Is there anyone?
