চিত্ত যেথা ভয়শূন্য, উচ্চ যেথা শির,
জ্ঞান যেথা মুক্ত, যেথা গৃহের প্রাচীর
আপন প্রাঙ্গণতলে দিবসশর্বরী
বসুধারে রাখে নাই খণ্ড ক্ষুদ্র করি,
যেথা বাক্য হৃদয়ের উত্সমুখ হতে

History and translation
This poem was most likely composed in 1900; it appeared in the volume Naivedya (July 1901). The English translation was composed around 1911, when Tagore was translating some of his work into English after a request from William Rothenstein. It appeared as poem 35 in the English Gitanjali, published by the India Society, London, in 1912. In 1917, Tagore read out the English version, (then titled 'Indian Prayer') at the Indian National Congress session in Calcutta.
Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high;
Where knowledge is free;
Where the world has not been broken up into fragments by narrow domestic wars;
Where words come out from the depth of truth;
Where tireless striving stretches its arms towards perfection;

जहां चित्त भय से शून्य हो
जहां हम गर्व से माथा ऊंचा करके चल सकें
जहां ज्ञान मुक्त हो
जहां दिन रात विशाल वसुधा को खंडों में विभाजित कर
छोटे और छोटे आंगन न बनाए जाते हों
जहां हर वाक्य ह्रदय की गहराई से निकलता हो
जहां हर दिशा में कर्म के अजस्त्र नदी के स्रोत फूटते हों
और निरंतर अबाधित बहते हों
जहां विचारों की सरिता
तुच्छ आचारों की मरू भूमि में न खोती हो
जहां पुरूषार्थ सौ सौ टुकड़ों में बंटा हुआ न हो

A R Rahman composed an Indian Independence Day tribute song 'Jagao Mere Des Ko' in 2013 featuring the poem, with Suchi and Blaaze, along with an ensemble from KM Music Conservatory. The song was featured in MTV Coke Studio 2013.
સ્વરાજ-સ્વર્ગે નિરાળે
જનમન હો જ્યાં નિર્ભય, માનવ ઉન્નત રાખે જ્યાં ડોક,
જ્ઞાન હો જ્યાં મુક્ત, જગનાં એક થાયે સહુ લોક;
‘મારા-તારા’ના વાડા-વિહોણે આંગણે ઝૂમે અશોક,
વિશ્વ-નીડે નીડર નર-નારી કિલ્લોલે થોકેથોક.
સત્ય કેરા ગહન ઉરથી વચન-ધારા ઝરે,
અણથક બાહુ લંબાવી બિંદુ પૂણ સિંધુને વરે,

Rabindranath Tagore (Bengali: রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুর) (7 May 1861 — 7 August 1941), sobriquet Gurudev, was a Bengali polymath who reshaped Bengali literature and music. Author of Gitanjali and its "profoundly sensitive, fresh and beautiful verse", he was the first non-European Nobel laureate. His poetry in translation was viewed as spiritual, and this together with his mesmerizing persona gave him a prophet-like aura in the West. His "elegant prose and magical poetry" remain largely unknown outside Bengal.
A Pirali Brahmin from Kolkata, Tagore had been writing poetry since he was eight years old. At age 16, he published his first substantial poetry under the pseudonym Bhanushingho ("Sun Lion") and wrote his first short stories and dramas in 1877. Tagore achieved further note when he denounced the British Raj and supported Indian independence. His efforts endure in his vast canon and in the institution he founded, Visva-Bharati University.
These rare videos have been collated from other YouTube contributors. The recital at the beginning is by an unknown narrator. The poem is from the 'Gitanjali'. the work for which Tagore won the Nobel prize in literature in 1913. I found the recital quite brilliant and took the liberty of using it to supplement the mute videos. The song of Tagore which follows is vocalised by Kavita Krishnamurti
