જીવન

ક્યારેક ….

તમે તમારા જીવનથી અસંતોષ હો,

જ્યારે દુનિયામાં કેટલાંયે એવાં લોકો હશે

જેમને તમારા જેવું જીવન મેળવવાનાં સ્વપ્નાં આવતાં હશે.

ખેતરમાં ઉછરેલું બાળક એરોપ્લેનને જુએ તો

તેને પ્લેન ઉડાડવાનાં સ્વપ્નાં આવે,

જ્યારે પ્લેન ચલાવનાર પાયલોટને ખેતર જોઈને

ઘેર પહોંચવાનાં સ્વપ્નાં આવે.

ખેર! જીવન આવું જ હોય, એને માણતાં શીખો.

જો પૈસાથી સુખી થવાતું હોત,

તો પૈસાદારો શેરીઓમાં નાચતાં હોત,

પણ એમ ફક્ત ગરીબ બાળકો જ કરે છે.

જો તાકાતવંત લોકો નિર્ભય હોત,

તો અંગરક્ષકો વિના હરતાં ફરતાં હોત,

પણ જેઓ સાદાઈથી જીવે છે,

તેઓ નિરાંતની ઊંઘ માણે છે.

જો સૌંદર્યતા અને વિખ્યાતિથી ઉત્તમ સંબંધો બંધાતા હોત,

તો નામાંકિત લોકોનાં પરિણીત જીવન અતિ સુખમય હોત.

એટલે જ સ્તો …

સાદાઈથી જીવો,

નરમાશથી વર્તો,

અને ખરા હૃદયથી પ્રેમ કરો.

તો સારું જીવન પામશો જ.

A child on a farm sees a plane fly overhead

& dreams of flying.

But, A pilot on the plane sees the farmhouse

& dreams of returning home. That’s life !

Enjoy yours…

If wealth is the secret to happiness,

then the rich should be dancing on the streets.

But only poor kids do that. If power ensures security, then officials should walk unguarded.

But those who live simply, sleep soundly.

If beauty and fame bring ideal

relationships, then celebrities

should have the best marriages.

Live simply, walk humbly

and Love genuinely…
